Owen Barfield Society Meeting

I was honored to be in attendance at the inaugural meeting of the Owen Barfield Society last week in Calgary, Alberta. We met under the auspices of the Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association, at their annual conference. For years there has been a regular session at the RMMLA conference for the presentation of papers on Owen Barfield and literature; the sponsorship of the OBS by RMMLA is greatly appreciated, and gives me yet another reason to find the time and money to make it to the annual conference.

Among the topics discussed - not giving away anything, as it's mentioned on the OBS website as well - was the creation of an e-journal of the Society. It is to be peer-reviewed, and interdisciplinary. Check the OBS website for more news as it becomes available.
