I quickly scan my e-mail Inbox, and in seconds know exactly which messages I can safely delete, without even previewing them, because I know they're spam. So why isn't there a spam program that can do the same thing? In fact, not only is there not a program that can do it as quickly, there's not one that is as thorough or accurate.

Give me a break - computers aren't production tools, except in the most quantitative tasks. They are entertainment machines - and I'm all for that. I appreciate the computer a hundred fold more when I'm listening to internet radio through Winamp, with an awesome skin, and the Milkdrop visualization showing trippy, creative, endlessly changing visuals.
